Leicester and me ..... again

Well bloggers just booked into the Travelodge in Leicester again for another 1 night stay. I was thinking of a good sup, indians and then to the casino next door until the early hours.

However while booking into the hotel the young lady behind the reception desk enquired where I was from when I said Durham she almost wet herself as she explained that she was born in Dryburn and lived in Sunderland until last November. Down here on her own and is over the moon to hear a mackem voice. She even said see you later in the bar as she is serving then will be off next door to the casino to loose money.

So plan B comes into operation no indians and bad jaw, now off down to the hotel bar in an hour for some good mackem discussions and fun then off to the casino. I wonder if she has someone to switch her bedroom light off?

As they say on postcards my fellow bloggers "WISH YOU WERE HERE" - no I don't!

Gan on Jimmy, go for it - think of it as a bit of a 'pick me up' after last nights disappointment! You can tell us all about it on the way to Wigan, also the full details of the 'Russian Girls', that's if you can get a word in edgeways past Butch ... and if I'm not asleep.

P.S. How 'young' is the young lady?

No he did'nt, he has a nice quiet night in town First he went to that 'great' pub for a quiet drink then off to the casino for a few games of roulette.
At least that's what he told me when he came into my Indian restaurant and said he wanted some food like the other people were eating. Problem was that we were closed and there was no-one else in the place so he was stuck and left with nowt. Last seen we was on his way back to the hotel muttering something to himself about last time at least he'd had a knuckle sandwich.
Funny fella!
