Trains, and boats but NO PLANES

Israel strike grounds soccer fans
10:13am today
Thousands of English football fans could be prevented from flying into Israel for a crucial Euro 2008 Championship qualifier this weekend because of a strike there.
The open-ended general strike started on Wednesday morning after marathon talks overnight between the Histadrut labour federation and the Israeli government failed to avert the walkout.
Municipal workers at airports, seaports, railways, government offices, banks, the stock exchange and other services are protesting because they have not been paid for months.

Another israeli plot to get rid of Steve McClaren

How will Lucky Jim fair in getting there if the strike is not brought to an end soon?

Plane to Turkey, then fight his way through Syria over the Golan Heights or an under cover of darkness exploit of the coast in a canoe?
