Friday POETS day

Yes its POETS day (piss off early tomorrow's Saturday) and I am having a wind down looking forward to the week-end and the match against Derby on Sunday.
It look's like we have one player back and one player out in defence - Gary Breen back from injury but Steve Caldwell out due to calf injury (most people have dogs and cats for pets Caldwell must keep cattle)

Today was spent working from home as usual completing emails booking appointments for the next few weeks, only interuption was from my daughter and the arrangments for the wedding end of the year. Times have changed since I got married - book the church, the club for the reception and the night out no problems and very cheap. Now it's Hardwick Hotel and at Hardwick prices and only Hardwick because they have more than one function room other places are booked for Christmas parties or like the Halgarth Manor Pittington could not be bothered to have anyone available even after booking an appointment - what would it have been like if it was the wedding day and no one in. I was thinking of the SOL but too far to travel so we will probably stick with the Hardwick Hall, after all I was born there when it used to be a hospital.

Talked to a work mate from Surrey today - he supports Chelsea and pays a fortune for his season ticket. Anyway asked him about the game with Man. U and if it was penalty or not - obvious answer was it wasn't a penalty and he was still stressed out as he stated it was a stressful game - he should try supporting Sunderland. He is going to the second leg in two weeks time so I wished him luck but didn't mean it as I would rather see Northern teams in finals than any Southern team even if it is Man. U who don't have any fan base that live in Manchester.

As stated in my previous blog the interest in the Everton fixture is dwindling, reason for this is the price of the tickets - looks like we will be down to the same 11 or 12 sharing a coach with Sedgefield.
