Watering Hole SAFC v Reading

Received a call from StephenW to say watering hole would not be opening early for us tomorrow. Problem is the Grand National Trip, Keith the steward is getting picked up at 8.30am and cannot get anyone to come in early. So it's straight to the Fort for me boys.
Remember the coach leaves Kelloe at 10.30am, Coxhoe 10.35am and West Cornforth at 10.40am.

What a surprise.!!! Told you so in an earlier post. Nowt to do with the steward, nowt to do with the Grand National Trip ( which incidentally is normally a weekend trip) but everything to do with being a mag oriented venue who could never see ther way to doing a mackem a good turn.

Huyton,
Agree with StephenW we have an agreement with the Club that if we want them to open up at 11.00am on a normal home fixture they will. I have never called this as the numbers are not high - only about 4 /5 get in and some don't want the extra hour. We have been in as early as 8.30am when going on an away match, so you are wrong my friend on all counts.

I stand erected in my orthopeadic shoes, but where there's a will theres a way!

Would suggest that had there been a concrete rather than plastic Mag supporters group then it would have happened.Someone would have been found to accommodate them. Surely, given the amount of bar staff they have it would have been possible.

However I do not wish to labour this issue ( but I will ) and can only point to the good auspices that have been bestowed in different arena's should beer wish to be served at 6 in the morning and not half nine.

Not being a early morning drinker myself it's neither here nor there, not being a regular attender or even an attender it's neither here not there, the point I made is that I am not surprised.
