Fishburn Shed of Light

Had a chat with the manager of the FSOL the other night with regard to a post season analysis. He confirms to me that there are NO PLANS for an extension at this stage and any sightings of builders are purely coincidental. He wasn't aware that the fame of the famous four ( manager and directors) of the FSOL had gained world wide publicity through the www.safcsa-coxhoebranch.blogspot.com web pages.

He will at the next board meeting ( Sunday night) place the issue on the agenda for discussion as the directors work their way through beer "N" ( Norseman, now there's a famous Vaux, brewed in Sunderland beer).

Quite how the Smoggie members amongst them will accept a Sunderland brewed beer is unknown. It must taste like vinegar to them but still, it's better than supping sulphuric acid, the only thing brewed on Teesside. I'm sure the manager M.B. and his deputy D.O. will make sure directors R.W. & S.P. get a good sup of Wearside ale in an effort to seep some real culture into their souls. S.P. must be half way there anyway working in the land of the rising sun on Wearside.

Our meeting with the manager will give us an opportunity to catch up with all things FSOL and dsicover if any new signings in the pigeon cree are on the cards, if there have been any new beers brewed that can be added to the list for supping, if any new managerial vacancies have been applied for, and above all to let us know if there is a concensus of opinion about the way forward or if "I can't agree with that" reigns supreme.

Agenda item for the next directors meeting
Will the FSOL consider a visitation from the 4 Coxhoe bloggers? Cans of nominated alphabetical beverage will be supplied as an inducement.
