Velez stay top

Velez remain top of the Torneo Clausura with a 1-0 win away to River Plate.

a 13th minute penalty from Lucas Castroman decided it.

The next round could go a long way to deciding the champioship, with 4 of the top 5 playing each other. ( Check the title link)

So GO VELEZ GO.

Thanks for ther update Jack. I searched for the results but couldn't find them, I'll save the soccerway site to my favourites.
Well, it's still all there for the taking but it's still all there still to do. Some interesting games next weekend. Without stating the obvious Velez need to make sure they don't get beat vs Estudiantes and they still should be OK, even better if Banfield beat Racing.
Looking forward to a match report from Walter - GO VELEZ GO!

P.S. According to Walters note there were 3 games to go before the weekend. That means that there must be only 19 games in the season. With 20 teams in the League that means each team must play each other only once. How does that work out Walter? How is it decided whether the game is played home or away?
