Wedding Bells

Never mind the game, the main topic yesterday was Jimmy's daughters wedding at Hardwick Hall on December 3rd, the day we play Tottenham away. We've got it all worked out. Here are some of the things the Billy's have thought of to make the wedding the NE social event of the year and a day to remember.

Butch and Kenny as page boys. Won't they just look lovely in their matching outfits and "cheeky boy" smiles.
Problems with the wedding list? Solved. Which new bride wouldn't love a matching set of "his and her's teatowels" from Poundsaver?
What to put on the lunch menu? No problem. An Indian banquet would make it easy for everyone to place their order - "I'll have what those other people are having".
What happens if the evening do is a bit slow getting going? We'll round up all the lads from the Greyhound and bring them through to the night time do. As they'll have been on an all-day-session this should liven up things up a bit.
What about the evening buffet? How can we make this appeal to all tastes? Solved once more by the ingenuity of the Billy's. Fish and chips is a firm family favourite and would surely be appreciated by all the guests
Entertainment is another area we've also sorted out. In these days of unexpected power cuts why risk a disco or loud band. A good old Gypsy wedding band should do the trick. We'll give our friend Billy from London a call. Imagine the fun, dancing and carrying on followed by a good old fashioned rough and tumble at the end of the night where the two families can sort out any differences in the traditional manner. Why let those petty differences linger on? Get the two fatha's to sort things out with few rounds of bareknuckle boxing in the car park (although one of them has a glass jaw so it might not last long)
Finally, the morning after. After all the guests have departed you can count on The Billy's still to be around to help with the presents, having hijacked one of the official wedding party's rooms for the night.

I can hardly wait. The best bit is that we've got till 3rd December to think of even more stuff!!
