Kevin Kyle

Much maligned by a large section of SAFC supporters, who view him has little more than a battering ram.

I would appreciate views of Big Kev now that you've all seen the second rate players brought into fill the gap he's left.

Would you swap the "silky" non existent skills of Stead who learned his trade in Divisions 1 and 2, or Gray who has stature but no skill, for a man, blighted by a career threatening injury, who learned his trade as a Premiership player, now that you have seen them.

Can you appreciate why McCarthy saw Kyle has a vital part of his plans?

A fit Kyle is invaluable. You know he is going to work hard. You know he is going to unsettle defenders with his aggression and in your face style, You know he will weigh in with goals and you know he will give 110% for the cause.

Kyle appreciates where he came from, knows he has limited ability, but makes up for that with effort and committment.

The sooner he's bac the better.

I agree Jack, Kevin Kyle would be a definite advantage at the moment. At least Kevin knows what his own game is about and leads the line with committment and gives 100%, not like the two lightweights Stead and Gray, who are just going through the motions.

On a positive note Ferryhill U12's won 12-0 in the first round of the Durham cup. Nice football played by a bunch of lads who worked hard for each other and 'did the business' without any fuss.
