SAFC v Arsenal

Well what a waste of time, good job it was cheap to get in! The first half saw both teams cancel each other out with the Lads only attempt at goal in the 31st minute - I think this was to be our only shot on target for the whole of the match.
Second half we were 2 yards slower than Arsenals second mob and there was no way back after the first goal went in. We stopped and watched as the ball was struck and hit the back of the net without the goalie moving. We created nothing and deserved nothing.
Once again in front of 47,000 plus fans we failed to play attractive winning football to try to get at least some of the missing fans back.
Roll on Saturday and hopefully a better performance from our first squad .... if this is the state of what is coming through if injuries start kicking in God help us!

Jimmy, you're starting to sound like me man.

Take a step back and look at it for what it really was...... an oppotunity to give others a game and first teamers a rest.

Saturdays much more important.... but not importnat enough to get me there.
