Today has got to be the day ....

.... when we win at home and break this terrible losing streak of defeats. I know I've said this for the last two 'must win' home games but if we don't win today then we're definitely doomed. Not confident, all we can do is hope, but if we win today and get motivated and get a point from Liverpool we might have an outside chance of survival. Or am I living in dreamland?

P.S. After Liverpool on Wednesday we don't have another home game till Boxing Day!

Agree 100% Billy we MUST win today otherwise we are doomed but not mathematically - I also am not confident and just live in hope.
We've been here before and still go we must have hearts of lions.

Just what on earth do you lads get out of it anymore?

It's fuckin well hopeless. I'm not gloating either. You all know my view of McCarthy. Kev Ratton knows my view of McCarthy, we almost came to blows over his appointment.

It was wrong back in October 2002 and it's obvious now that he was nothing more than a populist choice of the press who had know time for Wilkinson.

Wilko had a better record than this clueless bugger and the irony at the end of the season would be Cotterill bringing Burnley up via the play offs.

Wilko would have took us down but he'd have brought us back much stronger than we are now and it wouldn't have been a team laden with 3rd rate players.

Who, tell me, save Whitehead, has been a sucess that MM has brought in. Who?, go on name one other.

It's time he went and Murray needs to grasp the nettle, sack him and pay him up.

Go now for the love of God and the sake of Sunderland Football Club
