Alan Stubbs

Although getting on a bit, I thought he would have been a good signing for SAFC (remember what Steve Bould did). Injuries meant he was missing a few times but he still never got the nod over Caldwell and Breen in recent weeks. So what happens today Everton rush him through a medical before todays 5 o'clock deadline to ensure he is available for the week-end game with Arsenal. Best of luck Alan you might as well go to a team that may play you on a regular basis. SAFC must think that Breen and Caldwell are better than you, possibly younger I think but not better.

NGTWBAOSGTCCI????
Not going to WBA ... O ... so going to Coxhoe Club instead ?

Can't work out this transfer of Stubbs. Perhaps he didn't settle or fit in but I agree he's a better player than Breen and Caldwell. Or perhaps the club are starting the wage bill cuts early, in preparation for releagation?

Just watch, he'll have a blinding second half to the season!

Stubbs never even wanted to be here. You can see he was never happy - I wouldn't be either if I had just left a side that had qualified for the champions league against all odds, then get put in the pecking order behind Gary Breen.
Heard he actually had a 'leaving do' with the players and staff in Sunderland on Tuesday night.

Rumour 1: Ben Alnwick 500k to Arsenal?
Rumour 2: Whitehead to Man City £2.5m?

I told Jimmy about the Julio / Portsmouth one a couple of days before it hit the papers so remember where you heard it first!

Well hows about a treble because we will win next Saturday, then we will beat the Boro.
I can see that points gap reducing and I can see the Boro sliding into the relegation zone too.
We might be down but not out.
