Portuguese Footballing Legacy

Spotted this whilst on holiday on the Island of Madeira. The site of the first ever football match played on Portuguese soil, and long before it reached the Portuguese mainland.

Organised by a bloke called Harry Hinton, a local business man in the village of Camacha he took the game to the workers and the rest, so to speak is history.

Did too good a job.
