Hull City Away

Sunderland AFC would like to advise supporters holding tickets for Saturday’s game against Hull City that there will be no alcohol on sale to any Sunderland supporters seated in the Smith & Nephew North Stand of the Kingston Communications Stadium.

The game was originally a police category ‘B’ fixture, however because of the increased number of tickets sold to Sunderland fans (4,000), the game has been raised to a category ‘C’ game by Humberside police.

The general police policy for all category ‘C’ games at the Kingston Communications Stadium is a restriction on the sale of alcohol to visiting supporters.

Hull City AFC approached the police to try to obtain an exemption for this game but the police policy still stands.
