An answer for you Brian

You asked what were those ropes for in the pic i posted , Velez's pics by the way. Here's the answer: They are used by hooligans to be able to be standing (as you see, they're over the height of the heads of the rest of the fans as you can see. They are standing on "paravalanchas" like a sort of steel bars, that are used meant to avoid people rolling down the terraces when the team scores a goal.However, hooligans use them as something to be standing on, hanging with those ropes tied up in the fencewire..).
