New Ticket Hotline Phone Number

Sunderland AFC has implemented a new hotline number for ticketing enquiries and bookings.
The number, 0845 671 1973, (in recognition of Sunderland’s historic 1973 FA Cup victory) can be used by supporters to purchase match tickets, for general ticketing enquiries or season ticket purchases/information.
The change has been made to allow more calls to be dealt with, prevent engaged tones and to make the whole telephone booking process easier and simpler for supporters.
Unlike many clubs who use premium rate numbers for ticketing enquiries and reservations, calls to the SAFC number are charged at local rate only, and the Club is therefore reducing call costs to a large number of fans.
Telephone ticket bookings are subject to a booking fee to cover postage costs (all tickets are posted first-class to ensure swift delivery) and credit card transaction charges. The booking fee is levied at £1.00 per ticket transaction for the forthcoming season.
The implementation of the new 0845 number will allow the Club to make more operators available at busy times and ensure a more efficient call-waiting operation.
The Club is encouraging all supporters to use the new number with immediate effect as the 0191 5515151 will gradually be phased out.
