Stephen Wright out for 12 weeks

Click on title for link to Safc.com. Damaged medial ligaments in his left knee following a training ground accident on Monday. Needs surgery, will be out for 3 months.
Well, I was worried about Wrighty and was concerned he wasn't up to the Prem but now I'm really worried as Nyron Nosworthy looked well off the pace when he came on vs Charlton. Perhaps I'm being a bit unfair on NN and not giving him much of a chance - good luck to the lad, I hope he turns out to be a good 'un, but it's a huge jump playing for Gillingham in Div 1 to Anfield on Saturday and it'll be a big test of character for him.
On the + ve side the injury has happened at a time when we can still do something about it, before the transfer deadline, so we'll see what MMc does now, but not good news.
