Argentinian Football

Looking at Walters photos reminded me to post about Argentine Football highlights on Channel 5 on a Friday morning. Usually starts about 5:10am and finishes at 6 am. Generally on a early shift Fridays so caught it this morning.

The Velez game ( they won 2-1) included an unusual event. A goal that wasn't. A shot came in from outside the box, hit the back stantion and rebounded into the net through a hole in the top corner beside the stantion. It was the fast eyes of the linesman who ruled it out. That would have made it 2-1 to Velez but a later goal sealed the win.

It's worth a watch or even setting the video for. There are some canny footballers in Argentina.

So Velez currently lie second in the league.

I wonder if we have any money?
