All over for the Boro

Valiant effort. Not good enough on the night against a side that played good football. Had their chances and a stone wall penalty turned down. May have made a difference but who knows.

Now Steve Gibson starts the search for his new manager, though I suspect he already knows who that is. Any money on Alan Curbishley and interesting to note that Keith Peacock and Mervyn Day, Curbishley's assistants at Charlton both resigned today.

Joe Lovejoy of the Sunday Times, got every aspect of McClarens appointment to the England post spot on. He tips Curbishley. Is he the man to build on the legacy of youth down the road in Smogsville.

Then we have our own wait, for takeovers, managers, chairman and investment in the club that could put some momentum back into SAFC.

Lets hope we can see times as good as the Boro have had this season, even if they have come away empty handed.
