Home of CS Maritimo of Madeira, currently mid table in the Portuguese 1st Division.Capacity 10,000.
They must half blasted a canny bit of ground away to construct this stadium. My first time on madeira and to me there were only two ways to move, up or down. Its a mountaing with houses built upon it. Whilst there, and this is for Billy's MUFC supporting son, we passed through the village of Campanario, birthplace and home of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Impressive and very picturesque but wouldn't fancy being a ball boy at that ground! Canny hike if the ball got booted out of the stadium!!

Any pics of any cake from Madeira or were you just on a sight seeing mission? Years since I've had some Madeira cake!
