Lets get more posting in Messages
The blog site is getting to where I want it to be - a source for information, stories and general humourous chat unlike the remarks that are left on our other notice board that sometimes even I can't understand the meaning of some of the comments. So well done to all the contributors I think you will all agree it is starting to build into a good site for everyone to read.
Only disappointment at present is that there are only three members who are regularly posting messages these being Huyton, Billy and yours truly. Okay there are a few members adding comments but if you can add a comment you can write a message, post a photo etc. You must have something to say that will open up the floodgates for discussion, even if its about me!
As I stated when Walter posted a message for the first time " he achieved something that some in the UK have so far not been able to work out - how to post a message".
First you need an invite - there are plenty invites gone out to members of our branch and some outside the branch. If you need an invite please email me on: safcsa2004-coxhoe@yahoo.co.uk
Once you have the invite follow the instructions given in the invite and add a username and password. You will then become a member of the site allowing you to add messages, photos etc.
Please jot down your username and password then when you sign in get your computer to remember them.
Once a member you can post a message by going to: http://www.blogger.com/home and complete your detail username / password to enter the site and post a message.
Another site to try: http://www.blogger.com/start and again type in your user name and password at the top right hand corner.
Its as simple as that (I think!) Perhaps if there is another route Huyton and Billy can add in comments area.
If you have any problems after you accept the invite and cannot post a message I am sure that a call to either me, Huyton or Billy will help.
So come on lets have more discussion points, funny stories, facts, fiction, photos, jokes etc and get the site to where you want it to be ... I sowed the seeds now its up to the rest of you to reap the benefits.

Some good points raised there Jim.
Sometimes, however, I think we make assumptions that everyone is as technologically literate as you me and Billy. Not always the case and I think this sometimes frightens people off. The answer to that however, is , to give it a go. There was a time when I din't know how to switch a computer on but I've learned what I have by not being afraid to experiment. It's the same for everything in life. If you don't try, you don't learn. If you don't ask you don't find out.
So to reinforce Jims point, come on, give it a go. If Jim can take the time to send you an invite then surely you can take the time to register and post a message, even if it's " Go to hell you patronizing twats"
A young man 10,000 miles aay in Argentina has made the effort. Don't let him put some of you closer to home to shame.
Perhaps a tutorial in posting blogs, posting photo's, editing and deleting posts may be in order.
I'll get me thinking cap on.
Well ive added comments BUT now need the instructions to post pictures -anyone oblige?
