QPR 1 : Sunderland 3

What a great result better than expected and with Wigan getting beat a good gap appearing before the hectic games ahead. Let's not get too excited but we are well on our way if we get a good result on Tuesday night at Wigan.
Pity Shearers first game after signing new contract as player coach started so badly - ha ha!
Beaten 3:0 against a mediocre side and having your own men sent off for fighting each other then continuing down the tunnel, what a days football this has been. Is Shearer back as football coach or boxing coach? Is this the first time in the Premiership two players from the same side have been sent off for fighting each other? Over to you Billy for the answer.

Just saw this write up on the scums web site ... lets all now wait for the outcome - it will feel good to have a pint down the club tonight ... wonder if pinnocio will be in?

Too much punch at Al's party

Newcastle 0 Aston Villa 3

Newcastle's 2004-05 season imploded in an unbelievable 20 minute spell at St. James' Park today.

Not only did the wheels come off but the doors and the roof were also forcibly removed as three players were red-carded, with Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer disgracefully thumping each other in the middle of the pitch, continuing the scrap down the tunnel.

All the good work this season thrown away by two brainless individuals who clearly demonstrated that leopards never change their spots.

Both miss the semi-final at Cardiff and although Steven Taylor - dismissed for deliberate handball - will miss just one game, with Boumsong limping and Robbie Elliott and Titus Bramble still recovering from operations the FA Cup semi-final now looks to have been handed to Manchester United on a plate.

The repercussions from this game will go on for some time and although referee Barry Knight must shoulder some of the blame for an afternoon of bemusing decisions, the miscreants simply have no excuse.

GERRRRRRIIINNNNN!
Great victory for the Lads and much better than my hoped for draw. The side showed a lot of character to come back from 1-0 to win 1-3 and that must stand us in good stead for the run-in with Wigan 'wobbling' a bit.

3 great points today, after what was poor start to the game by radio reports. Never in it in the 1st half. What is it about jeff Whitley leaving the pitch that seem to spark SAFC into action? It happened against Coventry too.

The big issue today however and a one which has taken the gloss of our win is the that shambels of a shower of shite up the road. I can recall Le Saux fighting with one of his team mates at Blackburn in a European game, but it never resulted in a sending off or sent shock waves reverberating around the soccer world like this one.

I really think Sourness has bitten off more than he can chew with this issue and for all he may think it was the right thing to do , dressing them down in public, I don't think it is good man management and having led teams myself for 28 years it isn't something I would choose to do, ie publically ridicule and embarrass one of my own. It would be done behind closed doors and they would be lefyt in no uncertain terms knowing where they stood, that is if they were still standing.

I think this could well be the undoing of NUFC. No other team in the land has heaped this sort of controversy on itself since Bronco Lane and John Kay got involved in a betting scandal in the 60's. Every other issue seems to have been fan or manager generated, but teammates knocking 7 bells out of each other. Only in Newcastle could it happen and it couldn't happen to a better bunch aof arrogant tossers than them.

This one will run and run. This is only the start and I can'y wait for the Sunday papers.

Just like the twats to upstage us for all the wrong reasons.

Jack
I'm not so sure they've upstaged us, more like they look like total idiots, from the top to the bottom of the club. What a set of arrogant scummers.
Just seen this quote from Ian Holloway, QPR manager "In the second half, THEY CAME AT US LIKE A RED-AND WHITE SWARM and showed unbelievable desire." Makes you proud to hear such stuff and makes that lot up the road look even more like the set of overpaid brats that they are.

Wouldn't say we were upstaged Jack. You can only be upstaged by something worthwhile and the Mags shambles today was a total disgrace - I thought they'd gone as low as they could get with the Bellamy shenanigans but they've excelled themselves today and it's couldn't have happened to a nastier pair. The pendulum is swinging back and whilst we've a long way to go at least our club, directors, manager and supporters have some integrity and honesty unlike the arrogant lot up the road. Rant over!
Haway the Lads!!

Can't agree Billy.

They have upstaged us, as I said for all the wrong reasons.

It won't be Sunderland who get all the headlines in the Sunday papers for a magnificent win that puts one foot back in the Premier (almost), but them black and white twats, who for all the wrong reasons have shown once agian what an arrogant, ignorant bunch of tosspots they really are.

I hope the FA come down on them really hard. I hope the pair of them are given the freedom of the city of N*******e and that they play together again and further drag the black whites through the mud.

We are upstaged for every reason that is wrong.
