Durham Big Meeting 2005

The Coxhoe Drift Banner leaves the Racecourse in Durham. A colourful banner featuring two modern day Durham Branch of the National Union Of Mineworkers officials, David Hopper and Dave Guy.
In our day lads ( not that we were pitmen, but from pit stock) the official we all knew and recognised was that Kella Fella, Alfie Hesler. A big big union man in every sense of the word.
