V Liverpool

Watching this game on Coolstream.

I'm impressed!!!

Alonso's goal from a needless free kick conceded by Robinson,(again) with Xavi having no options on really. Whilst Davies has handled everything well and got a hand to the free kick he needs to make sure he lines his wall up to close down the angles. The backview showed a gap to squeeze the kick in.

From then on in was all Sunderland and with another striker up front may have been able to exploit the crosses coming in from Welsh, Whitehead and Lawrence with alarming regularity. Nosworthy has done really well indeed and has surprised me. His use of the ball has been excellent.

I really don't think we'll beat these but Liverpool are struggling to come up with any ideas to counter our system in midfield.

C'mon lads prove me wrong in the second half.

I agree Huyton.I think the lads were bright to attack along Warnock's wing in the first half but why they didnt keep on trying in teh second half. What's more, in the second half the only time Sunderland prefered to attack along Wornock's side, they succedeed and earned a corner kick.. I wonder..
But all in all, we would have deserved a bit more if Mc CARTHY had another forward in.
Ya Huyoton watching on Coolstream,. me watched the game live on the telly, Channel Fox Sports. What's even better, today while watching the Cockney derby, they announced they are showing Sunderland-Man C. next Tuesday at 3.45 argie time..Smashinnnngg!!
