McCarthy's reaction to Man Utd goading.
In keeping with most Saturday afternoons these days myself and the good Lady Hoofer, took ourselves off exploring our fair land.
Today we looked around the market town of Barnard Castle and paid the ruins a visit. Returning via Middleton, Langdon Beck and the moorland road to St Johns Chapel I happened upon Radio 5Live who reported that in response to goading from Manure fans McCarthy had responded with a gesture.
Was it 2 fingered, 1 fingered, fist or what?
I'm curious.
Shed any light on it anyone?

More of a 'ironic clapping gesture' really. Fans were goading Mick with Keano etc chants and he responded by applauding them. Never really looked like we were going to win but another good performance which augurs well fro next week. Mags are very ordinary and we have the fighting spirit and teamwork so I'm optimiistic that we'll come back from Sid James with something to show for our endeavours.
Same old story though - no cutting edge up front and still not impressed with Davis.
