SAFCSA - COXHOE BRANCH
The Coxhoe Branch is an offical branch of the Sunderland Association Football Club Supporters Association. Based in the North East Of England we cover the villages of Bishop Middleham, Coxhoe, Kelloe and West Cornforth. Coach travel is provided to all home fixtures at prices of £5.00 adults and £3.00 juniors and OAP's. Away travel is shared with the Sedgefield Branch of SAFCSA to all away fixtures. No Alcohol on any of the coaches.

Clue:- 1996 when this game was played. The player in question was then his clubs skipper and went on to be player of the year for his club at that time.
Still can't get it. More clues please. How about publishing the name as an anagam or with missing letters i.e.

Clue 2:-Began his career at Valley Parade and commanded a fee of £130,000 when sold from one club to another.
