Football awards

Don't know what all the fuss is about like. I've got one of them 'outstanding contribution to football awards' meself. Trevor Brooking sent it to me for helping put the nets up at Ferryhill. Had it for ages, long before Parnaby got his.

Loads of us got them at Ferryhill man, even the women ... and the fella that marks the pitch out. We even got trophies aswell. I'm fed up ov getting awards, I've telt them I don't want anymore this year as they're just cluttering up the house, what with those from our Tess and Alex, and our lass is sick of polishing them. Nowt but trouble these awards is what I say.

The only outstanding contribution to football you ever made Billy, was to buy gallons of beer in the process, drink gallons of water as a consequence of drinking gallons of beer, consume countless packets of Panadol, spend endless amounts of cash in pursuing a dream which you only ever achieved sleeping off the drug and alcohol induced sleep brought about by consuming countless gallons of beer follwed by countless packets of Panadol washed down by countless gallons of water and slept off on the way home from fruitless home and away matches.

|Now that is an outstanding contribution to football.

It should be Sponsored by Carling, Boerhinger Inglheim and Highland Spring and not McDonalds ( Harry Ramsdens may have been more appropriate.)

Aye Huyton. In summary - Beer + Sunderland = Headache.

BTW, where's Jimmy? Nothing from him all week! Hope he's OK and that everything went well with the wedding. I expect he's still recovering from the ordeal of getting his wallet out.
