Whats the craic with Mickey Bridges?
Have Sunderland discovered what they already knew?
Did Reidy know when he sold him to Leeds that there was a problem?
Now after Leeds, Newcastle, Bolton and Sunderland again he is free to go. Why offer him a contract extension ? Will anyone come in for him or will he sit in the reserves picking up the money from the contract extension.
Baffled.

Very strange him being offered a contract extension just a few weeks ago then being freed although I seem to remember something about him qualifying for a contract extension after a number of appearances.
Shame really as I've always liked Bridges and hoped he could re-establish some of his previous form but a good footballing decision as McCarthy has obviously had a good look at him and decided that for whatever reason he's not one for the Premiership.
Still baffling as to why he was offered the contract extension though.
The answer my friend is blowing in the wind the answer is blowing in the wind.
Perhaps we may discover more in the next 24 hours or so.
