Will Scottish football survive after this?

What d'you think about Strachan's view. In my opinion, Scottish football will experience an upheaval if Scot giants join the premierleague. What would happen with Falkirk, Dunfermline and that kind of teams. No one would be willing to invest in a league where its two more powerful teams have moved... I say no to Celtic and Rangers in the Premierlague.

What's your opinion about it..

Walter

They chose to live and play in Scotland so leave them there. Problem in Scotland is that most teams are about our 1st or 2nd Division standard and I always say that it's not propoer football in Scotland. Another point is that my "other" team is Celtic and what would happen if they were in the Premership? I would of course always choose SAFC before Celtic.
If it ever does happen and they are voted into the English League they should start in Division 2 so giving the smaller clubs a helping hand in finances when they play these two teams - only down fall is the cost of policing these matches.

The biggest mistake the Emperor Hadrian made during his visit to The British Isles, was not to build his wall high enough or long enough to encircle the Scots.

Whilst I love Scotland dearly the nationalist element leave me cold. They want England to have no part in the running of their country yet there are a majority ofJocks in Blairs cabinet running the nation.

The Celtic / Rangers issue for me has little do with football and everything to do with money and the pursuit of it therein.

Rangers and Celtic would be very average sides in the PL and would inmy view be yo yo clubs.

Should it happen ( God forbid) start them in the Conference and let them work their way through the pyramid system.

As some of you know I married a Jock and I always say to her and her relations in bonny Scotland that the worst thing that was invented was the ladder so you Scottish b*****ds could get over the wall!

Maybe Jim but I think the good Mrs Gilling has lived in England long enough now to have dual nationality.

Funnily enough I never think of Linda as anything other than a good Town kella lass.
